EXO achieves a real-time all-kill with their repackaged XOXO album “Growl”

On August 5th, EXO released their repackaged XOXO album “Growl”, and within a few hours, the album achieved a real-time “All-Kill” by dominating all of the major music charts. Growl placed #1 on Bugs, MelOn, Mnet, Soribada, Daum, Monkey3, Olleh, and Naver.

What’s also surprising is that not only did EXO’s repackaged album dominate the physical albums charts, it also ranked high on the digital charts as well, which SM artists normally have a difficult time competing in.

Not only did the album triumph on the charts, but the individual songs on the album, “Lucky” and “XOXO”, also ranked high on the charts as well.

The boys are currently promoting their title track “Growl” on various music shows. With their previous title track “Wolf” achieving the honor of winning 4 #1 wins on various music shows, and even achieving a Triple Crown, fans are hoping that “Growl” will be able to carry on that momentum. However things might be difficult for EXO this time around, because now they’re going up against some major players including their fellow label mate f(x), YG’s powerful girl group 2NE1, and their toughest rookie rivals B.A.P.

Congrats to the boys of EXO on their triumph, and here’s hoping they continue on with their success.
