EXO signs with Avex Trax – To release a Japanese album sometime in April

1

EXO has been reported to have signed with Avex Trax, one of the top entertainment labels in Japan and also the same company that all of EXO’s fellow labelmates are under.

In April, the boys will officially debut in the Japanese market with their 1st solo concert, and they’re expected to release their 1st Japanese album sometime that month as well.

We can’t wait to see what kind of songs will be included in the album.

Hopefully it’ll be like Girls’ Generations 1st Japanese album, with a majority of tracks being brand new and only a few tracks being Japanese versions of their Korean hits.

The boys will be kicking off their debut with their 1st set of solo concerts.

The concerts, dubbed “EXO Greeting Party in Japan ‘Hello!'”, will be held on April 12th and April 13th.

There’s no official word yet whether or not the album will be released around that time, but I’m sure we’ll hear about it soon.

With their debut into the Japanese industry, it’s looking like EXO will be generating more than the 30 billion won they generated for SM Entertainment back in 2013.

We just hope that with the release of their 2nd mini-album as well as the release of their 1st Japanese album, EXO won’t be too overworked.

We look forward to their upcoming Japanese activities though!

Where did you get this information from? I think this is just a rumor. SM said that they have no plans of releasing an album in Japan anytime soon. EXO’s main target is still the Chinese/Korean market.
