EXO’s generated 30 billion won worth of sales for SM Entertainment in 2013

According to Star News, EXO generated a whopping 30 billion won worth of revenue for SM Entertainment last year.

That equals around 28 million USD, or $28,000,000 for those of you who like to see all of those zeros.

That’s an extremely impressive accomplishment, especially for a group still considered rookies in the K-Pop industry.

We hope that SM Entertainment cut each EXO member a big fat check for their accomplishments.

EXO generated 30 billion won for SM Entertainment last year

Last year, EXO managed to sell over a million copies of their first full-album “XOXO, as well as around 400,000-500,000 copies of their Miracles in December “Winter Special” album.

Not only that, they also shot a total of 11 commercials throughout the year, and of course we can’t forget the huge success their pop-up store “BWCW” was.

EXO has yet to reach their prime, and they haven’t even started promoting in Japan yet.

With them already generating 30 billion won for SM Entertainment, we can’t wait to see what kind of revenue they’ll be generating this year.

They’ll be releasing a 2nd mini-album soon, holding their 1st solo concerts, and even participating in movies.

We hope that 2014 is just as amazing a year for EXO as 2013 was.

28 million only? 1.5 million albums sold of XOXO (wolf & repackaged), & Miracles of dec., plus MAMA sales for 2013, plus digital sales X $20 price of each album, plus endorsements, a tv show, photoshoots, tv appearances, & events, it should be much more!! Is this sales overall or net profit?

I wish SM should give each of them 1 million for a job well done.
