Hanteo: EXO’s XOXO is first album since 2009 to surpass 400,000 sales

EXO continues to surprise everyone with their popularity and their power. Hanteo recently revealed that EXO’s album XOXO (including the repackaged version), is the first album since 2009 to sell over 400,000 copies. On August 12th, at the time of the reveal, EXO’s albums sold a total of 424,425 copies, so there’s a chance that they’ll break even more records.

The Kiss version of XOXO sold 163,260 copies, the Hug version sold 130,292 copies, the repackaged Kiss version sold 78,998 copies, and the repackaged Hug version sold 51,695 copies. Those numbers are quickly and rapidly rising, making EXO one of the popular groups of 2013 so far.

The boys are currently working hard on their comeback with “Growl”. Their popularity and their album sales make them one of the strongest contenders to win 1st place on various music shows, so who knows, maybe with Growl and despite competition from B.A.P and 2NE1, we might see EXO win some more well-deserved trophies.
