This is great news for NCTzens everywhere.
Ten is exempt from having to do military service in Thailand!
Thailand has a similar military service requirement like in South Korea, except Thailand’s version is more of a lottery.
Every year in April, potential recruits pull a card out of a box.
They can pull out one of two cards; A red card, which means they have to serve in the military for two years, or a black card, meaning that they’re exempt from service.
NCT’s Ten bypassed the process altogether because of the knee-injury he had sustained in the past.
We’re very glad that he’ll be sticking around to promote with NCT.
I’m sure NCTzens are all relieved as well.
