WINNER to debut simultaneously in Korea and Japan!

It looks like YG Entertainment wants to break WINNER into the Japanese market as fast as it can.

Several Korean news outlets are reporting that WINNER will be simultaneously debuting in both Korea and Japan.

Yang Hyun Suk stated that the boys of WINNER, Kang Seung Yoon, Song Min Ho, Kim Jin Woo, Lee Seung Hoon, and Nam Tae Hyun, have been learning Japanese for the past 3 years.

In their 1st album, they will include Japanese songs as well as Korean.

WINNER to debut simultaneously in Japan and Korea

He states,

“The Japanese market is appealing. We have in mind a simultaneous debut in Korea and Japan. In the soundtrack, we will include songs for the Japanese audience. WINNER will be able to bear fruit in Japan earlier than Big Bang did.”

WINNER will be able to showcase their Japanese-language skills on November 16th when they open up for Big Bang at the Seibu Dome Concert.

Kang Seung Yoon, the leader of WINNER, stated that he was very excited to be visiting Japan and to see all of the different places in the country that are shown on K-Dramas and movies.

It looks like YG is looking to make WINNER lucrative as quickly as possible. I can’t wait to see how successful their debut is, and it’s impressive that they’re already jumping onto Japanese promotions, whereas many groups wait at least a year before doing so.
